City’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Practitioners complete the 5-day Integrated Planning Course on Incident Command System organized by experts from the Office of Civil Defense and TARSIER 117 of Bohol.

This is in line with the objective of Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo to train a core group of employees who will be at the forefront in managing and minimizing the effects of natural and man-made disasters to include planned events.

Accordingly, the course would enable the participants to demonstrate knowledge and utilize the tools necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of the Planning Section Chief and Unit Leaders in the Incident Command System through a lectures and workshops.

Among the participants are employees of the CDRRMO under Rizal Benatiro, Personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Coast Guard, General Services Officer Azucena Gonzales, City Treasurer Cristina Merced, Liga ng mga Barangay President Dione Amores, City Health Officer Maria Sara B. Talla, City ENRO Chief Chilvier Patrimonio, ONE Rescue and other volunteers.
