The top brass of the Central Visayas Police Regional Office (PRO-7) Chief Brigadier General Debold Sinas (second from left) pays a courtesy call to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo and Councilor Alan Gel Cordova to discuss means on how to enhance the peace and order situation in the city.
Mayor Remollo reiterated the requests for additional personnel and substations to better manage the security of both citizens and property.
It has been proposed that 5 more substations will be established in Barangays Cantil-e, Banilad, Bunao, Camanjac and the downtown area. At present, the substation in Cadawinonan is operating already. Mayor Remollo said that by July all the eight (8) Poblacion Barangays to include the Central Business District will be monitored by modern CCTV cameras and the rest of the 22 other barangays by November this year.
