Heavy equipment and skilled workers are deployed to help ensure that the civil works to build the Batinguel-Camanjac section (near Vida Royal) of the diversion road will be on track complete with a drainage system.

Once finished, the project, undertaken by DPWH, inches closer to the Candau-ay-Cadawinonan bridge that requires the clearing of Vida Royal’s fence and several houses on both sides so that a wide and adequate approach to the bridge can be realized with the cooperation of the lot owners.

If necessary, Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo will again talk to the affected lot owners to allow the project to proceed so that everyone can be benefited of a new and wide road network that will link Sibulan, Dumaguete, Valencia and Bacong and relieve traffic congestion in the downtown area.
