City officials led by Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo inspected the command center of the CCTV system with large monitors demonstrating the capacity and reach of the 336 high definition cameras that can focus subjects as small as plate numbers even at night.

Mayor Remollo shared the news that the initial batch of CCTV cameras mounted in and around the Quezon Park, to include the immediate streets and parking area surrounding it, are now operational. Soon the CCTVs will be installed in all 30 barangays in the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Vice-Mayor Franklin Esmeña Jr., City Administrator Ricard Gonzales Jr., Attorneys Roselle Erames and Edgar Lentorio and former Councilor Antonio Remollo witnessed the presentation and viewing inside the command center.

Mayor Remollo said that the CCTVs will help the local government to prevent or solve crimes, manage traffic and maximize early warning system during calamities.
