In an effort to spread Christmas cheer among our children, Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo launched the first ever Children’s Games and Share-a-Meal project covering nearly 10, 000 kids from 30 barangays of the city.

It is aimed at providing a venue for children to enjoy the traditional Larong Pinoy and share nutritious meals in the company of their friends and family.

Yesterday, children from Barangays Balugo, Candau-ay, Junob, Bagacay, Cadawinonan, Taclobo, Poblacion 7, Motong, Batinguel and Camanjac were provided with free transportation so they could join the fun games.

Mayor Remollo reiterates his appreciation to the various offices, barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials, private organizations including Foundation University and Vallacar Transit Inc. for their volunteerism and sincere efforts to ensure the successful conduct of the Children’s Games that will culminate on December 29, 2018 still at the City High School grandstand.

On December 29, 2018, it shall be the turn of Baranagays Bunao, Pulantubig, Daro, Bantayan, Piapi and Looc to compete in the various traditional games and partake the meals prepared for them.
