For the first time various leaders of urban poor associations and organizations are inducted into office by Councilor Lilani Ramon (right) witnessed by Councilor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino as part of the accreditation process of the Office of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor represented by Commissioner Romeo Jandugan so they could avail of services from the national and local government.

Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo has directed the various agencies of the local government to enhance the delivery of services for those in the marginalized sector. In addition, Councilor Ramon said that upon accreditation, the city government can extend livelihood assistance to the urban poor association. The activity is part of the observance of the Urban Poor Solidarity Week at the Quezon Park.
