SUSPENSION OF CLASSES DUE TO TROPICAL DEPRESSION SAMUEL (Kindergarten to Senior High School)

Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo declares suspension of classes in both private and public kindergarten, elementary and high schools as Tropical Storm Signal No. 1 is raised over Negros Oriental.

PAG-ASA FORECAST: November 20(Tue): cloudy with light to moderate to at times heavy rains Chance of rain=100% Temp. 24-27’C; H.I.=29’C. Winds WNW of 20-40 kph.

• “SAMUEL” is expected to make landfall over the Eastern Visayas-Caraga area tomorrow afternoon or evening.

Nov. 21(Wed): cloudy wid light rains in the morning(70% ) Temp. 25-30’C; H.I.=34C. Winds SE, 15-30 KPH.

• Moderate to heavy rains which may trigger flooding and landslides is expected over Caraga Region, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, and the provinces of Negros Occidental, Davao Oriental, Compostela Valley, Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental and Camiguin. Residents of these areas, especially those living near or in river channels, low-lying and mountainous areas, are advised to take precautionary measures, coordinate with local disaster risk reduction and management offices, and continue monitoring for updates.
• Fisherfolks and those with small seacrafts are advised not to venture out over the areas under TCWS #1 and the eastern and southern seaboards of Mindanao.
