For the first time in the history of Dumaguete City, all notable leaders from the barangays up to the Congressman, Mayor, Vice-Mayor and Councilors have coalesced to a common LUPAD vision to build a safer, healthier, cleaner and prosperous city through participatory governance and inclusive growth.

Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo and Cong. Manuel Sagarbarria, who share the same passion to pursue the master plan for Dumaguete City way back in 1998 rekindled not only their friendship but the shared commitment to work by forging alliances gained through trust and respect so that each leader, big and small, will contribute for the implementation and realization of that vision in the very near future.

Team LUPAD United is composed of incumbent Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Vice-Mayor Franklin Esmeňa Jr., Councilors Atty. Karissa Faye Tolentino Maxino, Lilani Ramon, Agustin Miguel Perdices, Atty. Joe Kenneth Arbas, Atty. Michael Bandal, Manuel Sagarbarria, Antonio J. Remollo, Atty. Edgar Lentorio Jr., Atty. Rosel Margarette Q. Erames and Nelson Patrimonio.

Notably all the city’s 30 Punong Barangays, the overwhelming majority of Sangguniang Kabataan officials and Barangay Kagawads, Governor Roel Degamo and Vice-Governor Mark Macias have expressed support to the LUPAD slate headed by Mayor Remollo.

They may come from different political persuasions but they are committed to the noble vision for the city under LUPAD. Livable and Cultured Community; Urban Revitalization inclusive of all barangays; Professionalism in government service and good governance; Abundance of food, clothing, adequate shelter for every family and Devotion to God and dedication to country and the community.
