The DCCCO Multipurpose Cooperative, the Girl Scouts of the Phils. and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows participated today in planting six more native trees along the boulevard, replacing old tree stumps.
They donated garden soil, compost and tree seedlings. All three organizations join other community groups which planted trees along the promenade last September 2017, and committed to caring for them until the trees are fully grown.
The activity was spearheaded by City Tourism Office under Jacqueline V. Antonio and her staff.
