Pursuant to the LUPAD vision:

Abundance of food, clothing, adequate shelter for every family:

  • Continuous training and assistance for farmers under the City Agriculture Office to boost food production
  • Cleared the Tale property in Banilad of squatters as the site of the core shelter housing for 370 Sendong victims
  • Employed 10, 823 applicants through the Public Service Employment Office from July 2017 to June 2018
  • Registered 7, 459 business establishments operating in the city in first half of 2018 up from just 7, 074 in 2016
  • Graduated 310 beneficiaries from NCII TESDA courses under the Better Access to Job Opportunities Program with P7M budget for workforce development plan
  • Granted emergency employment to 60 beneficiaries through the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers or TUPAD program in partnership with DOLE
  • Employed 62 workers through Jobstart Philippines Program
  • Trained 939 students in automotive servicing, beauty care, consumer electronics servicing, dressmaking, electrical installation and maintenance, hair dressing, hardware servicing, massage therapy, PC Operation, plumbing, refrigeration and air conditioning, shielded metal arc SMAW and tailoring under CLIHDDO
  • Funded 214 college scholars at P 12, 000 each per school year
  • Partnered with NGOs, foundations and philanthropists to secure donations to school children
