Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo formally donated of behalf of the city government, 6 units of 250cc brand new motorcycles worth P 1.4 million to boost the mobility of the local police under the command of its Chief-of-Police Supt. Jonathan Pineda.

This is the latest investment of the city government to support the campaign against illegal drugs, shootings and other criminal activities. The City PNP previously received brand new military type drones, bullet proof vests and body cameras to improve its intelligence gathering capability and maximize the safety of the law enforcers.

Mayor Remollo commended City Councilors Alan Gel Cordova, Karissa Faye Tolentino-Maxino, Joe Kenneth Arbas, Lilani Ramon, Michael Bandal, Manuel Arbon and SK President Danni Tolentino for their support to the peace and order initiatives of his administration.

He also acknowledged the efforts of the members of the City Bids and Awards Committee headed by its Chairman City Legal Officer Atty. Doram Dumalagan to ensure the procurement and timely delivery of the items.

Finally, Mayor Remollo said that the CCTV system has already been awarded to PLDT and the company will soon proceed with the installation of 330 CCTV cameras in strategic locations in all 30 barangays.
