The United Nations Development Program launched the#CleanseasPilipinasCampaign on Friday, July 6 @5pm at Ravello Ballfield in Silliman University.
Former three-term Councilor now Community Affairs Officer Antonio Remollo spoke in support of the campaign on behalf of the City Government of Dumaguete.
UNDP chose Dumaguete City as host of the Visayas Leg campaign to reduce trash and plastic littering our seas and ocean. The event was attended by various partners CSO, NGOS, academe etc.
National Scientist Dr. Angel Alcala delivered the inspirational message. The program was hosted by actress Antoinette Taus, clad in her classy gown made of recyclable material, Founder of environmental group CORA.
