Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo urges the City Engineer’s Office to speed up the repair of the river dikes and box culverts at the back of Foundation University and near the Bureau of Internal Revenue going to Bagacay.

Delivery of supplies and materials for the repair works have already started to arrive following the completion of the mandatory bidding processes for government projects.

The city has requested the Department of Public Works and Highways and other experts to help the City Engineer’s Office conduct soil testing and other required studies for the eventual construction of bridges to replace the box culverts using the funds from the city government at P 50 million for each bridge or P 100 million for the first two bridges.
