PUBLIC HEARING ON CLAMPING AND TOWING ORDINANCE

Stakeholders including businessmen, transport groups, law enforcement agencies and concerned citizens attend the public hearing, Wednesday, for the proposed “Ordinance providing for the use of Wheel Clamps to immobilize parked vehicles and the subsequent towing thereof, designation of loading and unloading areas and imposing penalties for violations thereof and for other purposes.”

The authors Councilors Karissa Faye Tolentino-Maxino, and Manuel Arbon with co-authors Councilors Michael Bandal, Agustin Miguel Perdices, Estanislao Alviola and Lilani Ramon fielded questions and elucidated the participants of the purpose, rationale and necessity of the proposed measure.
