City Chief-of-Police Supt. Jonathan Pineda reported to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, who chaired today’s City Peace and Order Council meeting, that incidents of crimes have decreased significantly from January-March 2018 compared to the same period in 2017.

Based on the data, the incidents of crime were lessened to just 450 incidents in the 1st quarter compared to 695 in the same period in 2017 or a decrease of 245 crimes.

Mayor Remollo said that the procurement for additional hand held radio, CCTVs, 6 motorcycles, bullet proof vests, drones, ammunition, request for additional personnel and substations are ongoing and maybe completed within the 3rd quarter of this year.
