Rehabilitating the Nation Together!
City Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo spoke before hundreds of health workers, students, professionals, police officers, barangay captains, barangay kagawads and other officials in a town hall meeting with top officials of Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD) at the Negros Oriental Convention Center, Saturday.
Among those with Mayor Remollo in the panel to discuss the gains of the program were Assistant Secretary Ramon Cualoping III of PCOO; Assistant Secretary Aurora Ignacio of the Office of the President, Undersecretary Benjamin Reyes of the Dangerous Drugs Board, Deputy Director General PC Supt. Melvin Ramon Buenafe of BUCOR, Director Derrick Carreon of PDEA and Farah Diba Gentuya of DILG-Negros Oriental.
Councilors Alan Gel Cordova and Lilani Ramon were also present to underscore their support to the campaigb aganst illegal drugs.
REHABiNASYON features three components: #RealNumbers, #RealSolutions, and #RealStories. Under these components, initiatives like information dissemination, treatment of drug dependents, livelihood programs, job security, and alternative modes of development will be reintroduced and implemented across the country.
REHABiNASYON envisions to make the country drug-free to ensure a better future for Filipino families, especially the youth.
