DISCIPLINE ZONE

STERN warnings to violators!
REPORT to the authorities for any complaint.

Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo has instructed enforcers of the Discipline Zone to begin issuing penalties to violators beginning February 8 (Thursday), in view of the full implementation of the program.

Any citizen is encouraged to volunteer information that would merit a response from the teams of enforcers. For any report or complaint kindly contact the City DILG Office at 422-9495.

Six composite teams from the PNP, Bureau of Fire Protection, City Health Office, Department of Interior and Local Government, Department of Public Works and Highways, Traffic Management Office, Special Enforcement Unit, Provincial Highway Patrol Team and Environment and Natural Resources Office will be closely monitoring the zone that covers the national highway from Barangay Bunao up to Robinson’s Place in Calindagan.

Initial feedback show noticeable clearing of the national highway of obstructions and the easing of traffic congestion.

But consistent implementation is a challenge not only for the enforcers, but to all stakeholders.
