Key officials of the Securities and Exchange Commission conducted SEC-Gender and Development Investor Information Seminar for two batches of participants in the city hall on December 11 and 12 that included businessmen, government officials, deans, faculty and students of the four universities, leaders of vendors associations, barangay captains and treasurers, among other concerned sectors. The speakers coached the audience on how to spot investment scams to include online pyramiding schemes. The SEC panel of speakers included Director Jose P. Aquino SEC Enforcement and Investor Protection Department; Atty. Gerardo F. Del Rosario, Director of the Human Resource and Administrative Department; Atty. Dondie Esguerra, Assistant Director for Markets and Securities Regulation Department; Leonora S. Tandoc, Assistant Director for Corporate Governance and Finance Department; Diana Z. Elviña-Cortes, Coordinator, HRAD-GAD and Ronalyn V. Puatu, Company Registration and Monitoring Department.
