PopCom hails City’s Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning programs

The Population Commission in Central Visayas has awarded City Population Officer Laume Quijote, 3rd Place in the search for the Most Outstanding Population Officer in Adolescent Health and Development Program.

Quijote was also hailed Outstanding Population Officer in PopDev while Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo was also cited for their exemplary performance in lobbying for policy support on population and development initiatives centered on population dynamics and for integrating into the local government’s projects and activities the program components on Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning Adolescent Health and Development and Population Development Integration with the goal of enabling well-planned, happy and empowered Filipino families, respectively.
