The P50 million project will also develop its surroundings including the Quezon Park while Mayor Felipe Antonio “Ipe” Remollo has readied the plans that will create a “loop” linking the three major and proud cultural symbols of the city: the Old Presidencia (city hall) to the east, the Cathedral’s Bell tower to the west and Quezon Park in the center.

Once realized, this will help any visitor and the younger generation to fully appreciate the undying fidelity of the Dumagueteños to their faith; their devotion to civic-mindedness; love of family and passion for sports and recreation.

Among those who discussed the project’s merits (in photo with Mayor Remollo) are Councilors Manuel Arbon and Joe Kenneth Arbas, City Legal Officer Doram Dumalagan and Community Affairs Officer Antonio Remollo.
