An Overview Of Acquiring A Business Permit

 

For New / Renewal License Application

1. Secure a business permit form from the Permit Section of the Administrator’s Office. You will also be given a list of other requirements for you to complete. You can easily download Business Permit Form 1and Business Permit Form 2.

2. Get a Barangay Clearance from your local barangay where your business will be situated.

3. Head to the City Treasurer’s Office to get an evaluation and computation of the fees that you are going to pay. Depending on your initial capital and the nature of your business, the fees will vary.

4. After having been assessed by the Treasurer’s Office, you got to pay the total fees calculated and also get a cedula.

5. Complete the rest of the requirements as listed below (may not be in order)

  • Zoning Clearance (CPDO)
  • Sanitary Permit (City health Office)
  • City Engineer
  • ENRO
  • City Treasurer’s Office (Clearance Fees / Business Tax / RPT)
  • DTI
  • SSS / PhilHealth / PAG-IBIG / BIR (R-VAT)
  • City Veterinary Office (Pest Control Clearance)

6. Once all the other requirements are met, you will be going to the Bureau of Fire and Protection for the final assessment of the Business permit application.

7. Lastly, you shall proceed to the Administrator’s Office to have your certification finally signed by the City Administrator, Mr. William E. Ablong.

For Motorcycle For Hire Drivers

1. Secure the application form or download these two forms : Personal Bio-Data and Mayor’s Permit Application. Go to the Permit Section of the Administrator’s Office then get and accomplish the application form and do make inquiries about the procedure too. Mr Remegio Catapusan is assigned to assist you.

2. Submit the application form together with the other required documents.

Required Documents

  • Barangay Clearance

3. The forms and other documents will then be reviewed and the officer in charge will inform you for any lacking documents and also point you to the City Treasurer’s Office to pay for the fees.

4. Head back to the Permit Section where you’ll receive the receipt of your fees payment. Then you will be advised for a schedule when to come back and get your Mayor’s Permit.

5. After a day or two, you may receive your Mayor’s Permit at the Permit Section of the Administrator’s Office.

For Motorcycle For Hire Operators

1. Secure the application form and the list of the other required documents from the Permit Section of the City Administrator’s Office. Click the links to download forms MCH Permit for Operators 1 and MCH Permit for Operators 2.

  • MTOP Pink Form
  • Photocopy of Insurance Policy TPL/PL/PA/TPPD

2. After completely filling up the form, submit it to the Permit Section of the Administrator’s Office where your submitted documents will be carefully reviewed. You will also be directed to pay for the MTOP fees at the City Treasurer’s Office.

3. Proceed to the Permit Section of the Administrator’s Office with the application form and other supporting documents along with the Official Receipt. You MTOP will now be printed and is then forwarded to the City Legal Office than to the Mayor’s Office. You will be given a schedule to when your MTOP is ready.

4. On the said scheduled date, you may now get your Franchise documents and you are also to sign a log book.

For Easy Rides, PUJs, Vans Operators

1. Proceed to the Permit Section and secure the application and form and the list of other requirements. Download the Application for Mayor’s Permit Form here.

2. Submit the accomplished application form and the with the other required documents and it will be received and reviewed for any mistakes or whatsoever.

  • Photocopy of OP and CR
  • Photocopy of Franchise
  • Endorsement from Traffic Assistance Unit

3. The Permit Section will direct you to the Treasurer’s Office to pay the necessary fees in getting a permit.

4. Once you have paid all the fees and have the Official Receipt at hand, head back to the Permit Section where your Mayor’s permit will be encoded and printed out. A schedule will also be given to you to when you will be able to get the said Mayor’s Permit (usually the next day).

5. On the scheduled date, receive your Mayor’s Permit at the Permit Section of the City Administrator’s Office.
